HOW TO GET THE ADVERSARY TANK | COMBAT VEHICLE GUIDE

How To Get A Tank In Saints Row(2022) | Vehicle Guide

To get the Adversary Tank, you need to reach Notoriety 5 in the open world. You can use this tank to crush cars and stay alive. Enemies won't be able to do anything to it until Notoriety 4. So, there are quite a few ways to do so, but here is the best strategy:
  • Go to the Field Marshal Prison after stealing an MDI-525C during Notoriety 4. The APC has heavy armour and a turret that can crush enemies and vehicles easily.
  • Bring a rocket launcher and other explosives to cause mass havoc fast and equip the Transfusion Skill to quickly heal yourself during the combat.
  • Get an APC(light tank) during Notoriety 4 and continue to fight. Destroy everything and everyone you see in a particular area. Make sure you don't leave the area and don't kill all the enemies in the area, otherwise the Notoriety may end prematurely.
Visiting the Field Marshal Prison will also grant you Notoriety 4 with Marshal right away, but increasing it early on in the game is challenging. Your best option is to enrage everyone close to the church. Create chaos till SWAT arrives with APCs.

NOTE: If you have the "On The Down Low" perk activated, be sure to remove it because it makes you generate less notoriety. The complete opposite of what we desire.

  • Start by taking out regular enemies and vehicles. It won't take long for this to reach Notoriety 1 or 2. Always leave a few foes alive, and avoid shooting them when they are signalling for help. Let them!
  • Be sure to remain in a single area. You can quickly clear your Notoriety if you cross a region's borders or engage in combat close to one.
  • At Notoriety 3/4, more challenging foes will show up. Including SWAT. At this moment, opponents will surround you from every angle. Utilize Transfusion for quick healing and APC as cover. If a chopper shows up, use your RPG to bring it down.
  • Up until you achieve Notoriety 5, keep combating your enemies. The metre will quickly rise if reinforcement carloads are destroyed. Only do this if there are already a lot of enemies nearby. Making sure you generate chaos where everyone can see it but avoiding wiping out everyone is the trick to achieving our goal.
Use the turret to shoot the armoured soldier when the adversary appears. To quickly dispose of this man, you'll need a powerful, accurate weapon like the burst-fire Assault Rifle. You can hijack the tank if you jump on the front.

Now just return to the Church HQ and park the tank in your garage. You can now use a permanent tank. The tank can even be customized! The tank has radically different controls than a typical vehicle; you move forward and backwards with the sticks, and the tank's Signature Ability is always unlocked.

You can either die or restart if, for whatever reason, you aren't gaining notoriety. Sometimes notoriety just won't grow for some reason; thankfully, dying takes care of the problem for us.
