The Traveler can now resonate with Dendro! Experiment with new reactions and new builds to get the most out of your Traveler.
All Genshin Impact players can now access Sumeru, allowing Travelers to connect with Dendro. The Traveler may now use Anemo, Geo, Electro, and Dendro, four of the seven elements. Making changes to your Traveler construct is necessary to get the maximum enjoyment out of each Element, which adds to the pleasure. This is for the small group of Traveler fans I have because I think Dendro Traveler is great.

Best Position – Dendro Support
The Dendro Talents of the Traveler show that they are particularly strong in Energy Recharge. This shows that using Dendro Traveler to constantly apply Dendro to foes and relying on dealing with Dendro DMG is a good idea.
Similar to their Electro Elemental Skill, The Traveler's Razorgrass Blade is a Dendro Elemental Skill. Three Dendro bullets are released in a wave by the skill, but the traveler's burst does not receive any extra Elemental Particles. But if you increase the Traveler's Elemental Mastery, the Skill can deal some decent damage. Every point of Elemental Mastery that the Traveler has resulted in a 0.15% increase in Razorgrass Blade's DMG.
Best Weapons
5 Star – Freedom-Sworn
The Freedom-Sworn raises Elemental Mastery by a specific amount, which will augment the Traveler's ability to create Dendro Reactions. Additionally, DMG is raised by a percentage. Every 0.5 seconds, the owner of Freedom-Sworn receives a Sigil of Rebellion when Elemental Reactions are triggered. Even if the character isn't on the field, this can still happen.
Once the character gets two sigils, they can be used to boost the ATK and DMG of adjacent party members' normal, charged, and plunge attacks by a certain amount. 12 seconds are allotted for this bonus. The character won't get any Sigils for 20 seconds after consuming.
In essence, Elemental Mastery and DMG are automatically increased by Freedom-Sworn. After invoking Elemental Reactions, it will enhance ATK, Normal, Charged and Plunging for a predetermined period of time. The benefits of Freedom-Sworn factor into how Dendro Traveler should be used, which should be to produce as many Dendro Reactions as possible.
Honorable mention goes to Skyward Blade for its Energy Recharge bonus, but the Main DPS can make better use of its weapon skill.
4 Star – Festering Desire or Iron Sting
The Festering Desire, which is perhaps the best 4 Star sword in the game, was a Dragonspine event-only weapon from the start. Elemental skill DMG, Elemental skill CRIT Rate, and Energy Recharge are all proportionally increased by Festering Desire. Therefore, reducing Traveler's Burst cost while maximizing Traveler's Dendro DMG is important.
You can also use the Iron Sting if you don't have the Festering Desire. Iron Sting is much simpler to improve and advance as a craftable blade. Elemental Mastery is increased by a specific amount by Iron Sting. The sword enhances all DMG by a percentage for 6 seconds when dealing with Elemental DMG. It permits up to two DMG stacking, which can happen once every second.
Honorable mentions include Favonius Sword and Sacrificial Sword.
3 Star – Skyrider Sword
The passive skill of the Skyrider Sword provides an additional percentage of Energy Recharge. Skyrider Sword's Elemental Burst increases ATK and Movement SPD by 12% for 15 seconds. Depending on how refined the weapon is, the percentage increases. In particular, for a C0 Traveler, this will lower the high burst cost of the Traveler.
Best Artifact Sets
In general, artifacts with Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery, Dendro DMG Bonus, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG should be equipped. Both primary stats and secondary stats fall under this. Good fortune.
4PC Deepwood Memories
One of two new artifact sets that Sumeru has shown. Deepwood Memories offers a 15% Dendro DMG Bonus at 2 pieces. When an opponent is hit by an elemental skill or burst, it reduces their Dendro RES by 30% for 8 seconds when it has 4 pieces. Deepwood is ideal for the short changes you'll make with Dendro Traveler because it doesn't require the character wearing it to be on the field in order to activate the Dendro RES effect.
In the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment in the Domain, you can farm for Deepwood Memories. This is the Liyue-Sumeru border region's Domain, located immediately west of The Chasm. In addition, it is a simple Domain to open and enter before even reaching Sumeru City.
4PC Gilded Dreams
Gilded Dreams, the other Artifact Set accessible through the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment, is the second of the two new Sumeru sets. You can have greater success farming for this set than Deepwood because it is the backup set.
Elemental Mastery is increased by 80 points when two Gilded Dreams pieces are used. When a character wearing it activates an Elemental Reaction, within 8 seconds, it offers them bonuses. It costs 4 pieces. Gilded boosts the ATK of any party members who share the same elemental type as the reaction by 14%. The Elemental Mastery of characters with different elemental types is boosted by 50. Each buff can be used by up to three characters that meet its requirements. The effect can be triggered once every 8 seconds and the equipped character doesn’t need to be on the field.
2PC Deepwood Memories & 2PC Wanderer’s Troupe
The Traveler receives 80 Elemental Mastery and a 15% Dendro DMG Bonus with this combination. If you want Dendro Traveler to act more like a Sub-DPS, this combination is recommended because Elemental Mastery points directly boost Razorgrass Blade's DMG (or you just like seeing big green numbers).
You have two options for raising your Elemental Mastery because equipping two pieces of Gilded Dreams will accomplish the same thing. Simply select the set that has the strongest substats. Given that Wanderer's Troupe is a frequent boss drop from both regular and weekly bosses, it will probably be that item.
2PC Deepwood & 2PC Emblem of Severed Fate
Given that two pieces of Severed Fate enhance Energy Recharge by 20%, this combination is better suited to a full Support build. Emblem will work to lessen the Traveler's Elemental Burst as much as possible, enabling the Lea Lotus Lamp to activate Dendro AoE more frequently. In general, use Wanderer's Troupe to do more damage. The emblem should be worn for more frequent bursts.
Best Teams
Dendro Resonance
Try experimenting with how Dendro Resonance impacts your squad if you wish to use Collei or Tighnari as your Dendro Main DPS.
One of your other two teammates needs to be an element like Electro, Hydro, or Pyro that reacts with Dendro. Given that there are two free spaces, it might be advantageous to double up on one of the three available elements.
Alternately, you might use Geo for shields or Anemo for Swirls Reactions to fill the empty space. Water is abundant in Sumeru, which makes it simple to make Hydro infused Swirls.
Xiangling, Bennett, Thoma, Tartaglia, Kokomi, Fischl, and Kuki Shinobu are the teammates vying for the final two berths.
Reaction Team
This team concentrates on developing various Elemental Reactions rather than pursuing the Dendro Resonance. This team setup allows for greater variation in characters and Elements rather than fully optimizing your Dendro Reactions. You could use Collei or Tighnari for a Hydro character, for instance, in place of doubles of Dendro and Electro. This allows for the induction of the electro- and bloom reactions.
The Traveler should mostly be used in this team for off-field damage or continuous Dendro application for reactions. Otherwise, you can play about with whatever you desire, such as using Cryo and Hydro to suffocate adversaries or increasing Swirl damage. An excellent place to start would be with a team comprising Xingqiu, Traveler, Kaeya, and Thoma.
