Another great game creating a burden on our time!

Voice Of Cards: The Beasts Of Burden Announced; Release Imminent

The Voice of Cards titles has been coming out with an astonishing frequency. Voice Of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, the first game, debuted in October 2021. Voice Of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden, the sequel, debuted in less than six months, in February 2022. The third installment of the IP in a year, Voice Of Cards: The Beasts Of Burden, will be released in less than a year. Yoko Taro is the franchise's creative force. On September 18, 2022, Voice Of Cards: The Beasts Of Burden will be released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. According to a press statement from Square-Enix, "Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden is a standalone experience that both newbies and followers of the previous editions, Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars and Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden, can enjoy." The Diofield Chronicle, Dragon Quest Treasures, Star Ocean: The Divine Force, Valkyrie Elysium, and Tactics Ogre: Reborn are just a few of the RPGs from Square-Enix that will be released before the end of the year 2022.

As the third installment in the Voice of Cards series, "Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden" introduces players to an illustrated world presented via the use of playing cards. Players can now capture the monsters they slay in cards so they can utilize them as skills in combat. Follow a brand-new story that takes place in a world where monsters and humans have been at odds for millennia, and a girl who loses her home resolves to take revenge on them. She teams up with an enigmatic boy as they venture into the unknown and try to figure out what will happen to this damaged planet.

The Voice of Cards series is an intriguing one that links to the already intricate Drakengard and NieR gaming universes. The game is led by veterans of both those franchises: Yoko Taro (Drakengard series, NieR series), Keiichi Okabe (Drakengard 3, NieR series), and Kimihiko Fujisaka (Character Designer) (Drakengard series).

Fans of the there franchises can purchase or preorder the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the game and a variety of DLC inspired by the mobile game NieR Re[in]carnation, in order to get their hands on the best and fanciest version of this latest addition, including:
